This is a Rare, Very Early WWII USAAF 98th Bomb Group Jacket Patch, North African Made.
Group was assigned to US Army, Middle East Air Force, 9th Air Force, then 12th Air Force.
VINTAGE:
WWII.
SIZE:Approximately 4-9/16" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Embroidered twill, silk/cotton thread, gauze backing.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto Flight Clothing.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The patch shows moderate age wear.
