This is a circa World War II jacket patch for the United States Army Air Forces 820th Bombardment Squadron, 41st Bomb Group, 7th Air Force. The 820th was active from 1942 until 194They flew B-25 aircraft and served in the Pacific theatre. The patch is American-made, and shows a caveman about to hurl a few missiles.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 5-1/16" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool embroidered in cotton/silk thread, muslin backing.
