ARTIFACT: This is an awesome World War II United State Army Air Force 587th Bomb Squadron, 394th Bomb Group, 9th Air Force jacket patch. This is a D-Day Unit. The 587th flew B-26 Marauders and converted to A-26 Invaders. They operated from a number of airfields and Advanced Landing Grounds as they moved across Europe and into Germany.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII.

SIZE: Approximately 5-3/4" x 5-1/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silk screened on Canvas

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto garment.
