Rare, Span-Am War Spanish Cavalry Puerto Rican Garrision Pith Helmet Plate Model 1894

This is a rare Spanish Cavalry Puerto Rican Garrison pith helmet plate from the Spanish-American War. The plate model was adopted in 189It is silver in color, not brass, which means it was worn by engineer, cavalry and quartermaster troops. The plate has a great red and yellow medallion at its top.

Circa Spanish-American War.

Approximately 3-1/8" in width and 2-13/16" in height.

Stamped nickel with painted areas.
