ARTIFACT: Beautiful, early and rare United States Marine Corps enlisted man Model - 1892 undress hat badge with wire fasteners. This model of eagle, globe and anchor was worn on slouch hats during the Spanish-American War.

VINTAGE: Circa 1892.

SIZE: Approximately 1 5/8" in width x 1-1/2" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Stamped brass.

ATTACHMENT: Bendable wire fasteners.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 9- (Excellent+): The badge shows only minor wear and has an overall handsome patina.
