ARTIFACT:

This item is great. It's a WWI US Marine Corps Officer Hat Badge for undress. This pin is nicknamed, "The Beast" by collectors and it's made by GEMSCO, a prominent badge maker of the time. This is just a wonderful piece with the intricacies of the small details.

VINTAGE:

Circa WWI - 1920's

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/2" in height x 1-3/4" in width x 1" in depth.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Patinated Bronze.

ATTACHMENT:

Screwback and stabilizing pin.
