Description
Rare Spanish American War Era M-1895 United States Army Officer Visor Cap. The cap is a size 7, made of blue wool felt and features a beautiful bullion cap badge and US Army Infantry gilt brass buttons, perhaps of the 192nd Infantry Regiment. The inside leather band of the cap is unit marked and named to J. C. Warren and the cap has a nice maker's stamp on the silk lining that reads: "MILITARY & SOCIETY GOODS PETTIBONE BROS. MFG. CO. CINCINNATI, O. U. S. A." The cap also comes with the remnants of the original rain cover.
