Rare, Private Purchase Span-Am US Army Officer 1st Infantry Regiment Collar Insignia

This is a rare private purchase pair of United States Army 1st Infantry Regiment officer collar insignia from the Spanish-American War. Instead of the standard Trap Door Springfield Rifles, the insignia show two crossed Krag Rifles with a number 1 above.

Circa Spanish-American War (1898).

Approximately 1" in height and 1-15/16" in width (each).

Brass.

Horizontal pin with tongue-style C catch.
