Rare "Shirt" Size Free French Air Force (FAFL) Pilot Wing/Branch of Service Badge

SUBJECT: This is a "shirt" size Free French Air Force wing/branch of service badge, and it is the only one I have ever seen in this size. The wing has a star at top and shows a crest bearing the Cross of Lorraine and reading F.A.F.L. (Forces Aeriennes Francaises Libres).

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: 7/8" height and 1-3/4" width.

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Gold-plated brass with blue, white and red enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with a "C" type catch.

MARKINGS: N/A.
