Stunning! This is a gorgeous and rare rank: a circa late 1930s Chaplain badge for the McQuoid Engine & Ladder Company #3 of Middletown, New York. This company was established in 185The badge is in rolled gold with a gold filled front and gold wash on reverse. It is nicely enameled with a black cross at the center of a blue medallion.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-9/16" in height and 1-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Rolled gold with a gold filled front and gold wash on reverse, hard-fired enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with forked locking catch.
