Rare Late WWII US Army 11th “Ghost” Infantry Division (aka Angels) Patch–Type DI Variant

This is a rare circa late World War II variant patch-type distinctive insignia for the United States Army 11th "Ghost" Infantry Division, also known as the "Angels". The insignia resembles a pie with twelve slices, and the twelfth slice is not blackened out as in the ordinary insignia for the 11th.

Gilt brass, enamel.

Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
