Rare Late 1950's USAF Air Police Badge Type 2 with Enameled Center & Pinback

Rare, late 1950's United States Air Force Police Badge #48438, Type 2 with enamel center and pinback. The badge features a beautifully enameled Air Police insignia at the center surrounded by the words: "DEPARTMENT OF THE AIR FORCE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", a spread-winged eagle sits perched at the top and it reads: "AIR POLICE" just below its talons, the base of the badge is numbered "48438"

Vertical pin with drop in locking swivel catch
