Rare Type 2 Late 1950s United States Air Police Badge with Enamel Center

This is a rare circa late 1950s United States Air Police badge Type 2 reading AIR POLICE / DEPARTMENT OF THE AIR FORCE / UNITED STATES OF AMERICA / 6654Badge is shaped like a medal with an eagle spreading its wings at top. A badge-shaped inset at the center is in blue and white enamel.

Circa late 1950s (1959).

2-9/16" height and 1-5/8" width.

Silver-plated brass with blue and white enamel.

Vertical silver-plated brass pin with drop-in swivel catch.
