ARTIFACT:

This is a rare circa late 1950s United States Air Police badge Type The badge is topped by an eagle spreading its wings at top and has a badge-shaped inset at the center is in blue and white enamel. It is numbered on the front and is in excellent condition.

VINTAGE:

Circa late 1950s.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-9/16" in height and 1-5/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS:

58499 on front; PROPERTY OF THE US GOVERNMENT on reverse.
