Description

ARTIFACT:

This is an extremely rare circa late 1950s Type 1 United States Air Force Air Police badge in near mint condition. The badge has a crest-shaped inset at the center is in blue and white enamel and is numbered 2714It has three clutch posts on reverse.

VINTAGE:

Circa late 1950s (1957-1958).

SIZE:

Approximately 2-9/16" in height and 1-5/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Silver-plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Three clutch posts with catches.

MARKINGS:

PROPERTY OF THE U.S. GOVERNMENT.
