Description
This is a rare United States Army Air Forces flight surgeon uniform jacket that was worn in the European Theatre of Operations. The jacket has a bullion wing and medic's insignia, as well as bullion major's leaves and ribbon bars. There are also two nametags inside.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Size 42L.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool, silk lining, embroidery tape, bullion wing/insignia, gold-plated buttons (one replaced), silk-wrapped cardboard bar, gold-plated bar with silk ribbon, plated brass buckles, metal snaps.
ATTACHMENT:Buttons, belt with buckle, snaps on belt, horizontal pin with C catch on bar.
MARKINGS:REGULATION ARMY OFFICER'S UNIFORM on label, J.D. PETROLAS on one tag and PELACOLIS (perhaps misspelled?) on another tag.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The jacket is in excellent condition with only a few very small holes (not all the way through).
