This is a rare and beautiful WW II US Navy Flight Surgeon wing in bullion.
VINTAGE:WW II.
SIZE:1" in height by 2 ¼" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt embroidered with gold and silver wires of varying gauges to create different effects, and a protective support on the back.
ATTACHMENT:To be attached to garment.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a large collection of wings which we will be listing more of over the next months. PGEX08.
CONDITION:8+ (Excellent) This wing shows some tarnishing but is in a remarkable good condition.
