This is a rare German-made United States Army European Civil Affairs Division distinctive insignia. The insignia is a red, white and blue striped crest with a sword at center.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1945.
SIZE:1-3/16" height and 1" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with multi-colored enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin.
