Description
This is a rare circa 1900 member lapel pin for the Nurses Associated Alumnae. The name of the group changed to the American Nurses Association in 191The gold-filled pin is enameled in various colors around its border and has a red cross within a white triangle at its center. The reverse of the pin has a Providence, Rhode Island maker mark.
VINTAGE:Circa 1900.
SIZE:Approximately 5/8" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold filled, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:STANDARD EMB. CO. PROV. R.I. FILLED.
