This is a rare circa 1910 New York Press Club (NYPC) member lapel pin. Begun December 4, 1872, the club was formed as a social press organization. It became a model for the later National Press Club. The pin has a crossed sword and quill at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1910.
SIZE:Approximately 3/4" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The pin has very little wear.
