ARTIFACT: Rare circa 1950 Royal Air Force 45 squadron jacket patch. Fully embroidered jacket patch made in Japan while the unit was stationed at RAF Station Tengah in Singapore during the Malaysian Emergency. The patch depicts a blue Camel with a red mane and wings against a background of yellow and surrounding it reads: "45 SQUADRON ROYAL AIR FORCE" in black lettering.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950

SIZE: Approximately 2-7/8" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered, silk/cotton/polyester threads, backed with linen
