Circa 1970 United States Navy Composite Squadron 3, Detachment B Japanese-made jacket patch. VC-3 sent detachments to assist during the Cuban Missile Crisis. The patch features a parachuting dolphin against a beautiful blue background with a thin navy blue border, below the dolphin it reads: "VC-3 DET "B".
VINTAGE:Circa 1970
SIZE:Approximately 4 ½" x 4"
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in silk/cotton/polyester thread on cotton.
