ARTIFACT: Circa 1970 United States Navy VF-154 small size, Japanese-made squadron patch. The Navy strike fighter squadron flew the F-4J Phantom aircraft aboard the USS Ranger. The patch is black and features a standing knight embroidered in white thread holding a shield depicting two orange stripes, above the knight reads: "BLACK KNIGHTS" and below, "ONE, FIVE, FOUR".

VINTAGE: Circa 1970

SIZE: Approximately 3" x 3"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered in silk/cotton/polyester thread on cotton.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USN squadron patch collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAEX15 LAAEX2/15

CONDITION: 9+ (Near Mint-): Patch shows hardly any wear.
