This is a circa 1970 jacket patch for the United States Navy RVAH-7 (Heavy Attack Squadron 7). This squadron saw service in Vietnam aboard the USS Enterprise. This patch shows a shield with an aircraft flanked by two firearms. It reads RECONATKRON SEVEN.
VINTAGE:Circa 1970.
SIZE:Approximately 4-1/2" in height and 3-15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Twill embroidered in cotton/silk threads, mesh backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
