Rare Ca. 1948 - 1949 USAF Headquarters Command (Bolling Point) Shoulder Patch

Rare circa 1948 – 1949 United States Air Force Headquarters Command (Bolling Field) shoulder patch. This short-lived example shows the Capitol Building in the center against a blue background and yellow and blue checked border and the reverse shows an old piece of tape with the patch's identification and reads: "e;HQ'S AIR FORCE COM'D."e;
