Description
Rare circa 1942-43 Royal Canadian Air Force 426 Squadron badge. The center of the badge shows a Thunderbird against an enameled maple leaf and the outer edge features a ring of dark blue enamel and reads: "426 THUNDERBIRD SQUADRON" and shows the original owner's initials: "M.E.R." engraved along the center bottom. The badge is from the Royal Air Field Dishforth when the squadron flew as part of the No. 4 RAF, Royal Air Force Bomber.

ATTACHMENT:Horizontal kick pin with 'C' catch.
