ARTIFACT:

This is a rare and beautiful 1930s Austrian glider badge, which shows a lone gull encircled by a slender red and white ring.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s.

SIZE:

Approximately 3/4" in height and 1-3/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass with enamel, brass pin.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal T-style pin with C catch.

MARKINGS:

BE—- MFG. WIEN VII (part of company name was removed at manufacture).
