Description
Rare, circa 1967 United States Navy Stable Door IUWG-1 (Inshore Undersea Weapons Group - 1) Westpac Detachment Japanese-made pocket patch removed from uniform. The center shows a shield with an amphibious craft with sharp menacing teeth in the center. One side of the shield shows a US flag and the other, a South Vietnamese. The patch reads: "US NAVY "STABLE DOOR" IUWG-1 WESTPAC DET VIETNAM"
VINTAGE:Circa 1967.
SIZE:Approximately: 3-1/4" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered, cotton/silk/polyester threads, linen backing.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto uniform.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The patch shows moderate wear, light soiling and scrapbook adhesive on the reverse, was removed from uniform, overall very fine condition.
