ARTIFACT:

Extremely rare circa 1967 United States Navy Special Warfare Group Viet Nam pocket patch. This Saigon-made example shows a 'cross' of embroidered fists/claws and surrounding it reads: "NAVSPECWARGRU VIET-NAM". Navy Special Warfare is primarily SEAL related due to the amphibious nature of the special operations engaged in.

Approximately 4" in diameter

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Hand and machine embroidered, cotton and canvas with cotton/silk/polyester threads
