This is a 1964-1967 Japanese-made jacket patch made for the United States Navy MSQ-44 squadron, a radar bomb scoring unit. The patch shows a duck dropping an egg bomb on an unsuspecting duck hunter in his rowboat. Patch reads ASHIYA and MSQ-44 on border.
VINTAGE:Circa 1964-1967.
SIZE:About 5-3/4" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered cotton patch with multi-colored polyester threads.
