ARTIFACT: Rare 1960's Royal Air Force Air Steward Sleeve Insignia. The full dress bullion wing, as worn by crew on VIP aircraft (Royals, etc.), features winged letters "AS" above a garland of leaves.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960's

SIZE: Approximately 1 ??" x 7/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Bullion thread, wool felt, cotton backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Royal Air Force collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCEX14 LAAEX2/15

CONDITION: 6 (Fine+): The wing shows moderate wear, areas of separation of cotton backing, bullion remains intact with handsome patina.
