ARTIFACT:

This is a rare early World War II Royal Air Force bullion pilot mess dress wing in bullion. This wing was also worn by foreign nationals wearing a RAF uniform, including Czechoslovakians, Poles and French.

VINTAGE:

Circa early World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 1" in height and 2-3/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Wool felt with bullion and cotton/silk embroidery, cotton backing.
