Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a rare late World War II Royal Air Force bullion pilot wing made in India. The wing is for wear upon a khaki uniform.

VINTAGE:

Circa late World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-13/16" in height and 4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Wool felt with bullion and cotton/silk embroidery, cloth backing.

7+ (Very Fine+): The wing has some light wear, mostly to the reverse, and some small spots of tarnish.
