ARTIFACT: Rare 1950's Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) 433 All Weather Fighter Squadron jacket patch featuring Walt Kelly's pogo character "Porky Pine". This patch features Porky Pine carrying a rocket, wearing his yellow and red checked hat against a yellow background with the number: "433" behind his head in red embroidered detail.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950's

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/2" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embroidered wool felt, cotton backing

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn on.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a RCAF collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJX15 LBCEX9/15 STRVBCEX4/17

CONDITION: 5+ (Fine-): The patch shows moderate to heavy age/storage wear and moth nips, patch was removed from clothing, the reverse shows scrapbook residue, colors remain bright.
