Rare 1920's French Sq. Badge for the 4th Sq. of the 39th Observation Regiment French Army of the Air

Rare 1920's French squadron badge for the 4th Squadron of the 39th Observation Regiment, French Army of the Air. This beautiful, early badge is made of nickel plated brass. The unit traces its history back to the late WWI Squadron C575, a reconnaissance squadron formed in Palestine using the caudron aircraft.
