ARTIFACT: Rare 1870's – 1880's National Express Company call card on lithographed paper on heavy cardstock. National Express Co. was one of the original large Express companies, it was established in 1855 in Albany, New York and existed at least until the turn of the century.

VINTAGE: Circa 1870's – 1880's

SIZE: Approximately 19-3/8" x 13-3/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Lithographed paper on heavy cardstock, grommets

ATTACHMENT: Two grommets for hanging

MARKINGS: "(?) – (?)3 – 97" (top corner hard to read)

ITEM NOTES: This is from a express collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MEJX13 LDEJX5/16

CONDITION: 6- (Fine): The sign shows moderate to heavy age wear and soiling, corners show separation and the sign is slightly warped, rare piece of transportation history.
