This is a Queen's Own Rifles of Canada 2nd Battalion cap badge. The badge is shaped like a maple leaf with a crown near its top and reads QUEEN'S OWN RIFLES OF CANADA 2 IN PACE PARATUS (Ready in Peace).
VINTAGE:Circa early 1900s - World War I.
SIZE:2" height and 1-5/8" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Brass.
ATTACHMENT:Two loops for attachment.
MARKINGS:R.
