1880s-1890s Officer's Cap Badge for 2nd Battalion Queen's Own Rifles of Canada

This is an officer's cap badge for the second battalion of the Queen's Own Rifles of Canada. The badge is shaped like a maple leaf, shows a crown and reads QUEEN'S OWN RIFLES OF CANADA 2 and their motto: IN PACE PARATUS (in peace prepared).

Circa 1880s-1890s.

2-11/16" height and 2-1/8" width.

Silver-plated brass.

Two loop attachments with bobby pin.
