Pair of Civil War US Army Infantry Captain's Bullion Shoulder Straps

This is a pair of Civil War United States Army infantry captain's shoulder straps. These straps were found at an estate sale in Maine along with a United States Army 9th Corps badge in silver from the Civil War, which is for sale separately as the next item under this category (badge is pictured above). The name of the original owner was lost long ago. Bordered in bullion, each strap is rectangular and has a pair of captain's bars at top and bottom.

Circa Civil War.

Approximately 4-1/16" in height and 1-1/2" in width (each).

Felt embroidered with bullion threads, treated cloth backing.
