Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a great pair of circa 1918 cufflinks bearing the Scottish national motto. A belt reading NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSIT (no one attacks me with impunity) encircles a standing lion on each link. The end of each link also has a shield with a lion which goes through the buttonhole.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1918.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 15/16" in width and 11/16" deep (each).

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Silver-plated nickel.
