ARTIFACT: This is an oval tinnie for the 1933 Nazi Hitler Jugendfest, or "HJ" (Hitler Youth Fest). The "Hitler Youth" was initially an organization formed to groom teenagers as anti-Semites, but during the war the Youths became fair game to restore depleted military manpower. The tinnie shows one young man holding a flag out in front of an army of others.

VINTAGE: Circa 1933.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 1-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Stamped brass.

ATTACHMENT: Straight pin.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Nazi Germany collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJL95 LDDX12/12 SDDX09/20

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The tinnie shows only some light wear.
