This is a 1936 tinnie for Hitler Youth Festival Day (Jugendfest). "Hitler Youth" was initially an organization formed to groom teenagers as anti-Semites, but during the War the Youths became fair game to restore depleted military manpower. The badge shows a large eagle bearing a swastika.
VINTAGE:Circa 1936.
SIZE:Approximately 1-9/16" in height and 1-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Brass/copper.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:None.
