Description
This is a circa 1934 Hitler Youth (or Jugend) tinnie for the Day of 100,000 (Tag der hundert tausen). The "Hitler Youth" was initially an organization formed to groom teenagers as anti-Semites, but during the war the Youths became fair game to restore depleted military manpower. The tinnie is shield-shaped and shows the Hitler Youth insignia at its center. The top of the tinnie is a row of townhouses. The badge reads Tag d. Hundert tausen. Aufmarsch d.H.J Gebiet 13 Hessen Nassau 1.u.2.9.1934.
