Description
This is an unusual 1934 Hitler Youth tinnie from Bonn-Treffen. The "Hitler Youth" was initially an organization formed to groom teenagers as anti-Semites, but during the war the Youths became fair game to restore depleted military manpower. The tinnie shows an eagle flying by a trio of flags and clutching a hammer and a baton. The tinnie reads H.J. (Hitler Jugend) Bonn-Treffen 122-Hohenlohe 8 Heuet 34 Kunselsou.
