This is a scarce 1935 Hitler Youth tinnie for Camp Area 1The "Hitler Youth" was initially an organization formed to groom teenagers as anti-Semites, but during the war the Youths became fair game to restore depleted military manpower. The tinnie has an eagle head at its center and reads 1935 ZELTLAGER GEBIET 13.
VINTAGE:Circa 1935.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 13/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:E.F. WIEDMANN FRANKFURT A.M.S.
