Description
This is a stunning Spanish American War era patriotic USS Maine glass. The glass has a large gilt and white enamel pyro-transfer depicting the battleship before her demise in 189The sinking of the USS Maine precipitated the Spanish-American War soon after she exploded at Havana Harbor on February 15, 189Popular opinion at the time blamed the Spanish for the Maine's demise although the evidence was far from conclusive. This very cool glass is the only one I've seen just like it.
