ARTIFACT:

This is a great old circa 1900 deputy sheriff six-point star badge from Napa County, California: Wild West Wine Country! The badge is all business without decoration and a plain lettering font.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1900.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-9/16" in height and 2-5/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical kick pin with tongue-style catch.

MARKINGS:

Appears to have some indistinguishable letters scratched on reverse, starting with "B".
