Description
This is a circa 1970s patch for the United States Navy Reconnaissance Squadron 63 (VFP-63), also known as "Eyes of the Fleet". The squadron flew Vought F-8 Crusaders and participated in the Vietnam War. This piece might be post-period-of-service. The squadron was decommissioned in 198The patch shows a white missile sailing over the South Pacific.
VINTAGE:Circa 1970s (might be post-period-of-service).
SIZE:Approximately 4" in height and 4-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester thread, twill backing.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto Flight Clothing.
