ARTIFACT: This is an odd circa early 1960s jacket patch for the United States Navy VA-42 (Attack Squadron 42). The patch reads INTRUDERS along the bottom and shows a USN TC4C plane. In the training of new bombardiers and navigators, the TC4C was used - it was equipped with the A6 system.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 3-7/8" in height and 5-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Twill embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester threads, muslin backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The patch has some moderate wear and some small of minor discoloration.
