Odd Early 1960s USN VA-42 (Attack Sq 42) "Intruders" Jacket Patch Showing TC4C Plane

This is an odd circa early 1960s jacket patch for the United States Navy VA-42 (Attack Squadron 42). The patch reads INTRUDERS along the bottom and shows a USN TC4C plane. In the training of new bombardiers and navigators, the TC4C was used - it was equipped with the A6 system.

Circa early 1960s.

Approximately 3-7/8" in height and 5-1/8" in width.

Twill embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester threads, muslin backing.
