ARTIFACT: This is a 1957 member badge for the Atlantic City Racing Association in New Jersey. The badge shows a jockey on horseback running at the center of a large horseshoe, turned opening-side up for good luck. The badge is numbered on reverse and was made by Whitehead & Hoag.

VINTAGE: Circa 1957.

SIZE: Approximately 1" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS: 98 W&H Co. (Whitehead & Hoag mark).

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows some small spots of light wear and tarnish.
